ABOUT

GREENMAX GROUP

CREATING GREEN PUBLIC SPACES TO LIVE IN

In a world increasingly dominated by concrete, paving and buildings, the mission of GreenMax Group is to connect green and infrastructure. With years of professional knowledge and expertise, an in-house circular production process and innovative solutions, GreenMax Group contributes to the growth and development of trees. That's how we create green public spaces to live in.

The roots of GreenMax Group

GreenMax was founded in 1995. At this time, urban trees and sustainability hardly received any attention. Looking towards a green future, GreenMax started developing innovative solutions to give trees room to develop in the built environment.

Recycling became
our benchmark

GreenMax's product portfolio grew and so did our personal mission to be as ecological and circular as possible as a company. We believe in reusing and recycling plastics when possible, rather than using virgin materials. In this way, we contribute to the longevity and health of trees in urban areas using circular materials. Materials that can be (re)used for more than 100 years. In 2007, we therefore made the decision to switch to recycled material as much as possible. This was very innovative at this time, because virgin material was the benchmark and nobody asked for recycled material.

Global greening

By now, society is convinced of the value of urban green and the use of sustainable materials. Recognition, a built-up reputation, expertise and innovative strength ensure that more and more (inter)national customers know how to find GreenMax worldwide.

TIMELINE

GreenMax Group from the very beginning to the present.

1
The establishment of GreenMax in 1995

It was June 28, 1995 when GreenMax was founded. This was a time when urban trees and sustainability received little attention. Yet there was a strong desire to make a sustainable change; to challenge the status quo.
